Templates
Register approved templates for WhatsApp sending and create SMS and Email templates.
How to Access
Here you register all approved templates for the WhatsApp channel and create SMS and Email templates (which do not require Meta approval). Access: Marketing / Settings / Templates, as shown in the Figure 1:

Main Screen

The main screen displays a table with all templates already registered in the system.
Available Buttons
: Creates a new template.
: Filters templates by service and name.
: Exports the list of templates that met the filter in CSV format.
Table Information
The templates table contains the following columns:
Name
Identifier name of the registered template
Active
Visual indicator (green ✓) if the template is active and available for use
Action
Buttons to edit
, delete
, duplicate
and view additional information
of the template

By clicking the button
the system opens the creation screen with three available tabs: WhatsApp, SMS and Email.

WhatsApp templates are the only ones that require Meta approval. That's why here what we do is fetch the approved templates here to register on the platform.
That said, how about finding out how to fill in the fields above?
Name Field:
Required text field.
Defines the identifier name of the template on the platform.
It will be displayed in the list and used for selection in campaign sends.
It can be written normally, no need to use underscores.
Application:
Required selection field
Lists the WhatsApp Business applications registered in the system here.
Select the application in which you had the template approved by Meta here.
Upload File:
Bar that, when activated, allows you to select the file used in the header of the template from your work computer.
When not activated it shows the option to paste the file URL:

Allow Custom File:
Bar that, when activated, allows you to change the header file during single campaign sends single sends of a campaign.
Very useful function for document-type headers, for sending PDFs of overdue invoices, for example.
Template Preview:
Visual area on the right side of the screen.
Shows how the template will be displayed on WhatsApp.
Updates in real time as we progress in the registration.

Name:
Required text field
Defines the identifier name of the SMS template
Application:
Required selection field.
Lists the SMS applications registered in the system here.
Select the application that will be used to send the SMS.
Message:
Required text field.
Space to write the SMS message content.
Limit of 152 characters per message.
Important information:
The system displays the warning: The maximum allowed characters are 152. Remember that the 152 characters must already include the values of the parameters included in the message.
This means that variables (such as customer name, amount, date) must be considered in the calculation of the 152 characters.
Template Preview:
Visual area on the right side of the screen.
Shows how the message will appear on the recipient's phone.

How to Create an SMS Template
Click the button New
Select the tab SMS
Fill in the field Name
Select the Application desired
Type the message in the Message
Note the preview on the right

Name:
Required text field
Defines the identifier name of the email template
Subject:
Required text field
Defines the subject that will appear in the email
Application:
Required selection field
Lists the email applications registered in the system here
Select the application that will be used for sending
Select Template / Upload Template:
Two buttons to choose how to create the email template
: Chooses a pre-existing template from the field list Template below
: Uploads a custom file from your work computer

How to Create an Email Template

Option 1 - Use Existing Template (Figure 7):
Click the button New
Select the tab Email
Fill in the field Name
Fill in the field Subject
Select the Application desired
Click Select Template
Choose a template from the list
Click Confirm to save
Option 2 - Upload Custom Template:
Same step-by-step as Figure 7 but downloading the template from the work computer.
Filter Templates

The button Filters allows refining the view of registered templates.
Filter Fields
Service:
Selection field
Filters by channel type
Options: WhatsApp, SMS, Email
Templates:
Selection field
Filters by specific templates
Lists all registered templates
How to Apply Filters
Click the button Filters
Select the Service desired (optional)
Select Templates specific (optional)
Click Filter to apply
Or click Cancel to close without filtering
Results will be updated according to the selected filters.
Export Templates

The button Export allows generating reports of the template list.
How to Export
Click the button Export
The system displays the logged-in user's email as recipient
The address can be changed if necessary
Available format: CSV
Click Export to confirm
Or click Cancel to close
The file will be sent to the configured address, including only the templates visible after applying filters.
Edit Template

In the Actioncolumn, each template has a pencil (icon
). By clicking it, the system opens the edit screen with the same fields as creation.
How to Edit
Click the pencil icon on the row of the desired template
Adjust the necessary fields
Click Confirm to save the changes
Or click Cancel to discard changes
Attention: Edits to templates already used in active campaigns may affect ongoing sends.
Copy Template
In the Actioncolumn, each template has a copy (icon
). By clicking it, the system opens a references modal for copying.

Screen: References
The modal displays the technical references (IDs) of the original template that will be used to create the duplicate.
TEMPLATE:
Read-only text field
Displays the unique ID of the original template
Example:

APPLICATION:
Read-only text field
Displays the unique ID of the application linked to the template
Example:

How to Duplicate
Click the copy icon on the row of the desired template
The system displays the modal with the references
(Optional) Use the copy buttons to save the references
Click Close to finish
The system automatically creates a copy of the template
Important:
The duplicate keeps all configurations of the original template
The duplicate receives a new ID (different from the original)
It will be necessary to edit the duplicate to change name or settings
Benefit: Allows quickly creating new templates based on existing models, saving configuration time and maintaining consistency.
Manage Additional Information

In the Actioncolumn, each template has a additional information (icon
). By clicking it, the system opens a side panel to link additional information to the template.
Screen: Additional Information
The panel allows linking previously registered additional information to the template.
Additional information:
Selection field
Lists the additional information registered in the system
Allows selecting one or more information items to link to the template
Value:
Text field
Allows defining the value corresponding to the selected additional information
Button + allows adding multiple key-value pairs
How to Link Additional Information
Click the additional information icon on the row of the desired template
In the Additional informationfield, select a key
In the Value, enter the corresponding value
(Optional) Click the + button to add more information
Click Confirm to save
Or click Close to cancel
Benefit: Allows pre-configuring additional information that will be automatically associated with sends that use this template, enriching the service context.

Delete Template

In the Actioncolumn, each template has a trash (icon
). By clicking it, the system requests confirmation for deletion.
How to Delete
Click the trash icon on the row of the desired template

Confirm deletion
Important:
Delete templates only if you are sure they are not being used in active campaigns
Deleted templates cannot be recovered
Consider deactivating instead of deleting to keep history
Relationship with WhatsApp Templates
