Access profiles

Create and organize access profiles that will define what each platform user can see.

This is where you create, view, edit and delete profiles with users' permission and access levels within the platform. Access Settings / Security / Access Profiles, as shown in Figure 1:

Figure 1: Access Profiles.

Click the topics below to navigate the subject more quickly:

Create New Access Profile

Create a new access profile by defining which features and permissions users linked to the new profile will have within the platform. See in Figure 2:

Figure 2: New Access Profile.

Note above:

  1. We clicked the button New.

  2. No Profile name we enter a title that easily identifies the profile (example: Service Manager or Support Team).

  3. In the Features we select the platform menus and features that the profile will be able to access (example: Power Menu, CX, etc.). Tip: the menus for selection mirror the platform's actual menus.

  4. In the Permissions within each feature we define the profile's permissions. Example: transfer interactions, close interactions, etc.

Configured everything? Don't forget to Confirm or Cancel your changes with the buttons at the bottom of the page:

Manage Access Profiles

View, edit or remove access profiles already created, making it easier to control permissions within the platform. See in the Figure 3 below:

Figure 3: Manage Access Profiles.

Note that next to each profile we have three icons. Shall we look at each of them?

View Features

Clicking this icon you view the accesses available for each profile as shown below:

Edit Profile

Clicking this icon you edit access profiles, modifying an existing profile. The edit action is similar to creation, as we see here.

Attention: Changes affect all users linked to the profile.

Delete Profile

By clicking this icon you deletes an access profile from the platform. Users linked to the deleted profile will no longer have the permissions associated with it.

Attention: this action is irreversible. Therefore before deleting the system asks:
