Form fields

Allows registering and managing the fields that can be used in ticket forms.

Fields define the type of information that will be collected during ticket creation.

Form Fields List

This screen allows you to register and manage the fields that can be used in ticket forms, defining the type of information that will be collected during the opening of the request.

The listing displays all registered fields, organized into the following columns:

  • Name;

  • Field: Identifier of the field used when creating it;

  • Type: Defines the field format, such as:

    • Text

    • Email

    • Multiple files

  • Predefined: predefined value registered to the field.

  • Action

    • Edit;

    • Delete.

New Form Field

This screen allows you to register a new field that can be used in ticket forms, defining its characteristics and fill-in type.

Fields for registration:

  • Form name;

  • Form field: Internal identifier of the field, used as a key for control and integration.

  • Note (optional): Auxiliary text that can be shown to the user to guide filling out the field;

  • Field Type: Defines the field fill-in format.

  • Text: Field that allows the inclusion of a regular expression and a predefined value;

  • Email;

  • Single file;

  • Multiple files: Allows uploading multiple files in the same field;

  • CPF/CNPJ;

  • Phone;

  • Radio Button – Single option: Allows selecting only one option from those available. To learn more about this option click here!

Choosing the correct field type ensures standardization of the collected information and improves the quality of the data received in tickets.

Depending on the field type, it may also receive a predefined value.

These are quick clickable options to make it easier for the user to fill in the information.

For the user to be able to select an option, it is necessary to create the radio button fields with their respective values, which will be linked to the ticket for display at the time of ticket creation. Thus, as illustrated in the image, there must be more than one option for the user to make a choice.

Final Considerations

  • Registered fields can be reused in different forms.

  • Correctly defining the fields ensures proper collection of information at the time of ticket creation.
